Job Summary
CRNA implements accurate, safe, patient-centric anesthetic care per ASA guidelines; monitors vital signs, capnography, and pulse oximetry during anesthesia; ensures proper documentation per hospital/regulatory requirements; adheres to ethical standards and contributes to professional development; position with Yale New Haven Health System at Northeast Medical Group in New London, CT; requires CRNA certification, CT RN/APRN licensure, ACLS/DEA, and ability to stand long hours and physically move patients.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
- Completion of Certified Nurse Anesthetist Training Program
- Graduate of a Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program (accredited)
- APRNs, PAs, CRNAs and CNMs are required to be appointed to the Affiliated Medical Staff of a YNHHS Hospital and credentialed through the Medical Staff process
- Ability to stand for long periods of time; lift up to 25 pounds; move self/patients between anesthesia locations
- State of CT RN and APRN License
- ACLS
- DEA Registration and State of CT Controlled Substance Registration
