Job Summary
Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures, diagnostic tests, cardio-thoracic surgeries, and cardiac catheterizations. Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students. Manage cases across inpatient and outpatient settings, including cancer, transplantation, trauma, and complex interventional cardiac, radiologic, and GI procedures. Requires full-time AM shifts with a pay range of $220.00 per hour. Must hold an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program degree and active CRNA certification from the Alabama Board of Nursing, along with current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program
- Currently certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Currently certified with Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Currently certified with Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Currently certified with Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)
