Job Summary
CRNA – Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist responsible for delivering anesthesia services across perioperative care. Key duties include collecting and evaluating patient histories, maintaining patient safety and airway management, administering medications and fluids per safe practice standards, monitoring anesthesia depth and physiologic responses, completing required documentation (surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, transfer-of-care note), and logging incidents in the Safety Portal. Requires graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program (per CACNAE).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
