CRNA – Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

CRNA – provide full-scope anesthesia care under clinical privileges. Responsibilities include collecting, reviewing, and evaluating patient data relevant to planned procedures; maintaining a safe environment and responding to emergencies; preparing and administering medications and fluids per safe practice standards; continuously monitoring airway, depth of anesthesia, fluid status, and physiologic response; completing required documentation (surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, transfer-of-care note); logging incidents in the Safety Portal; and performing other duties as assigned. Education required: graduate from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
