CRNA provides anesthesia care within defined clinical privileges, monitors airway and depth of anesthesia, administers medications and fluids per safe practice standards, maintains continuous assessment of patient status intraoperatively, completes required documentation (surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative record, transfer-of-care note), logs incidents in the Safety Portal, and collaborates with the care team to ensure patient safety and high-quality anesthesia services.
