Job Summary
CRNA at Cone Health responsible for full-scope anesthesia practice within a high-quality health network. Responsibilities include collecting/reviewing patient data related to medical and surgical history for planned procedures, maintaining a safe environment, responding to emergencies, administering medications and fluids per safe practice standards, ongoing assessment of airway, anesthesia depth, fluids status, and physiologic responses to anesthesia to ensure patient safety, and completing required documentation (safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, transfer-of-care note). Also responsible for incident reporting in the Safety Portal and performing other duties as assigned. Education requirement is graduation from a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by CACNAEP or its predecessor; CRNA certification/licensure as required. The role supports Cone Health’s full- and part-time anesthesia teams in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina with multiple recognitions and benefits described in the posting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor
- CRNA certification/licensure as required by state practice acts and organizational policies
- Clinical responsibilities delineated by clinical privileges; experience in collecting and evaluating patient medical history data; airway management and monitoring anesthesia depth; administration of medications and fluids per standards; documentation including surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, and transfer-of-care notes; incident reporting via Safety Portal
