CRNA – Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Provide anesthesia services as part of the Cone Health CRNA team. Responsibilities include collecting, reviewing, and evaluating patient data related to planned procedures; maintaining a safe environment and responding to emergencies; preparing and administering medications and fluids safely; continuously assessing airway, anesthesia depth, fluid status, and physiologic response; completing documentation such as surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, and transfer-of-care notes; logging incidents in the Safety Portal; and performing other duties as assigned. Education requires graduation from a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the relevant accrediting body.
