Job Summary
Conduct anesthesia care across all acuity levels for surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and pain management procedures at the Surgery Center campus. Select, obtain, order, and administer preanesthetic medications, anesthetic agents, fluids, and blood products while managing airway management, regional techniques, and invasive lines. Develop anesthesia care plans, perform safety checks on equipment and monitors, and facilitate emergence and recovery with ventilator support as needed. Manage emergency situations by assessing patients, administering emergency drugs, and utilizing basic and advanced cardiac life support techniques. Provide post-anesthesia follow-up, discharge patients from the PACU, and maintain confidential records while adhering to facility policies. Maintain competency in clinical responsibilities and collaborate effectively with clinical staff.
Required Qualifications
- Current active license for CRNA or CAA
