Job Summary
CRNA position for per diem work at BronxCare, serving as a collaborator in a care-team model. Responsibilities include conducting pre-anesthesia assessments, obtaining patient consent, discussing anesthetic options with patients, inducing, maintaining and emerging from anesthesia, monitoring patients' physiological conditions, and performing clinical interventions as needed. Ideal candidates must hold a current nursing license, graduate from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, and be certified by the AANA.
Required Qualifications
- Current license as a registered professional nurse
- Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
