Job Summary
Provides anesthetic care for patients in the surgical setting including Orthopedics, General Surgery, and high-volume GI suites. Assesses, plans, evaluates, and implements anesthetic management for all patients. Ensures accurate medical record documentation and continuous observation of patients under anesthesia. Participates in performance and quality improvement initiatives while adhering to legal and ethical nursing standards. Acts as a clinical resource, mentoring new staff or students as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists
- CPR – American Heart Association
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
