Job Summary
Conduct anesthesia for medical and surgical procedures in collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other physicians. Complete pre-anesthesia patient records, review laboratory data, and begin induction when appropriate. Provide direct patient care, document care given, and participate in professional development while ensuring compliance with all applicable state, local, and federal laws. This safety-sensitive position requires a constant state of alertness. The role is for employees transitioning from Ballas Anesthesia Inc during the initial offering period. Required Qualifications
- Cert RN Anesthetist
- Nursing Diploma/Associate's
- Nursing
- Advanced practice nurse who works in collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons and other physicians and medical professionals to deliver anesthesia for medical and surgical procedures
- Participates in professional development
- Provides direct patient care and documents care given
- Ensures compliance with all applicable state, local, and federal laws that may apply to anesthesia services
- Completes the pre-anesthesia patient record, reviews the results of laboratory data, and begins induction when appropriate
- The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
