Job Summary
Conduct patient anesthesia care including regional and general anesthesia techniques and invasive monitoring within the UT Health Multispecialty and Research Hospital and Kyle Seale Parkway venues. Provide clinical services Monday through Friday as needed across various UT clinical locations. Maintain certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist and Advanced Nurse Practitioner with the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners, ensuring compliance with state licensure requirements. Submit a letter of interest and curriculum vitae to apply for the faculty specialist position.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
- Graduated from an accredited school of nurse anesthesia
- Certified as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist, or have certification pending
- Registered or have registration pending as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner with the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners
- Skilled in all types of anesthetic techniques including regional anesthesia, general anesthesia, and invasive monitoring
- ACLS certified or obtaining certification
