Job Summary
Perform Pacemaker & ICD interrogations for Sorin/Microport patients and provide implant support within your geographic territory. Troubleshoot critical device issues immediately, educate clinics on remote checks and patient enrollment, and complete equipment requests via the Microport website. Maintain comprehensive product knowledge of bradycardia and tachycardia devices while collaborating with physicians to document device status. Provide 24-hour, 7-day-a-week on-call coverage including weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule, with travel requirements of approximately 80% within your territory and up to 20% outside. Obtain Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) certification within two years of hire.

- Valid driver license
- Current vehicle insurance policy
- Must obey all traffic laws
- Must be able to drive approximately 80% of the time within assigned territory
- Must be available to travel out of the assigned territory (expected to be less than 20%)

Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Physiology, Biology or Bioengineering
- Master's degree
- Minimum of three years of experience analyzing and reprogramming cardiac pacemaker and AICD's or current Cardiac Device Technology Certificate from a recognized device training school
- Pacemaker/ICD implantation and/or follow up experience
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of the company
- CRAT certification
- CCT certification
- Demonstrated critical thinking ability to resolve problems and carry out instruction
- Ability to effectively collaborate with physicians regarding device status and accurately document device analysis
