Job Summary

Own CRM data quality standards, governance, and scorecards to ensure consistent, accurate records across the sales organization. Audit pipeline data and forecast inputs for completeness, then hold recurring 1:1 meetings with individual sales staff to review updates and accuracy. Perform front-end cost analysis on new sales entering the pipeline, assessing exposure and margin before Finance reviews them. Translate this data into structured inputs for cash flow projections and flag unusual characteristics to the VP of Accounting. Build SOPs, dashboards, and validation processes that give leadership accurate visibility into sales activity and forecast integrity. Partner with Sales, Finance, and Operations to resolve data gaps affecting reporting or cash flow accuracy while supporting investor reporting needs.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience spanning sales operations, revenue operations, or CRM/data governance
  • meaningful exposure to financial analysis, FP&A, or cost/margin analysis
  • experience within a B2B or technical sales environment
  • Strong hands-on experience with CRM systems
  • Demonstrated ability to build and enforce data governance standards
  • Demonstrated ability to audit processes
  • Demonstrated ability to build reporting frameworks
  • Working knowledge of cost analysis, margin analysis, or cash flow/working capital concepts

  • Experience in a controllership, FP&A, or accounting function
  • Experience in a controllership, FP&A, or accounting function, particularly one that interfaces with sales or revenue data
  • Experience with sales compliance, audit, or ethics functions

  • Experience with technical, project-based B2B sales environments

  • Experience supporting private equity-backed or investor-reporting environments
