Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and IT equipment while monitoring facility operations and conducting routine assessments. Install, repair, and configure IT hardware, cabling, and customer equipment based on provisioning documentation and established procedures. Process work orders for corrective maintenance, manage hazardous materials, and utilize the Change Management Process for all maintenance activities. Respond to building emergencies and customer requests, creating tickets within the established system to address alerts. Assist customers on the Data Center floor in person and via telephone while complying with departmental safety policies. Requires two or more years of technical or trade training with a background in facilities maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or IT hardware. On-site work hours to support a 24X7X365 data center environment.
Required Qualifications
- Two or more years of technical or trade training, military training, or workplace equivalency
- Background in areas of facilities maintenance, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or IT hardware or cabling
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- This role requires on-site work hours to support a 24X7X365 data center environment and is not eligible for remote and/or hybrid work
Desired Qualifications
- One or more years of work experience in data center, commercial, or industrial environment, or equivalent
