Job Summary
Install, repair, and maintain IT, electrical, mechanical, plumbing/piping equipment and controls in building interiors and exteriors; monitor operations and perform tests, rounds, and data analysis to ensure proper operation of equipment. Assist customers on the Data Center floor, perform customer equipment installs, manage tickets in the ticketing system, and escalate alerts/requests to systems engineers. On-site work hours support a 24X7X365 data center environment with no remote/hybrid work. Provide remote hands and eyes services, configure high-level computer hardware and software, install and repair IT/electrical/mechanical equipment per provisioning docs and Data Center Operations procedures, process work orders for preventative/corrective maintenance, and document work using the QTS process. Collaborate with supervisor or team lead to obtain tools and materials, create/update tickets, and ensure safe operation; adhere to Change Management processes and safety policies including hazardous materials handling. Required Qualifications
- Two or more years of technical training, military training, or workplace equivalency
- Background in IT, electrical, and/or mechanical
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
