Job Summary
Lead process improvement initiatives by developing best practices, policies, and procedures to optimize facility operations and service delivery. Draft and review Methods of Procedure and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure clarity and compliance. Oversee technical implementation and deployment of customer solutions, including allocation of space, power, and network resources. Produce monthly reports, operational metrics, and compliance documentation while maintaining knowledge of ISO, environmental, and safety standards. Supervise facility operations staff, mentor teams, and foster a culture of operational excellence. Respond rapidly to facility issues to maintain 100% uptime and reliability across data center operations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in data center facility operations and management
- Proven supervisory and team leadership skills; experience managing technical teams
- Strong knowledge of mission-critical infrastructure and networking technologies, including UPS, generators, power distribution, mechanical systems, and HVAC
- Advanced understanding of industry standards, codes, and procedures, including ISO and OHSAS standards, and environmental/safety regulations
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a high-availability environment
- Data center industry experience required
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field preferred; equivalent training and experience considered
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft professional technical documents and deliver effective presentations
- Proficient in presentation and proposal development
