Job Summary
Drive process and procedure implementation by developing and reviewing MOPs and SOPs while ensuring correct, on-time solution deployment for customer applications. Manage all technical aspects of facility operations, including power and HVAC systems, and handle day-to-day issues to maintain 100% uptime. Prepare and present technical presentations on the facility, provide technical support for customer integration, and generate monthly reporting and metrics. Requires 7+ years of facility operations experience with supervisory responsibilities and familiarity with environmental, safety, and ISO standards. Based in Dallas, TX, this role supports DataBank's enterprise-class data center and cloud services.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ or more years of Facility Operations and management experience in the Data center industry
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong skills in presentation and proposal design
- Strong knowledge of general industry networking technologies such as UPS, Generators, and Mechanical systems
- Ability to multi task and meet multiple deadlines
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
- Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities
- Must be familiar with a variety of field concepts, practices, codes standards and procedures including environmental and safety regulations and ISO 9000 quality assurance standards, ISO 14OOO environmental standards, and OHSAS 18000 health and safety standards
Desired Qualifications
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred
- Data Center industry experience preferred
