Job Summary
Perform operational and preventative maintenance on Mechanical & Electrical equipment at Vaultica data centers. Monitor and act on alarms from operational monitoring systems (BMS, PMS, etc.), perform inspections of critical equipment and rooms, and be the first responder to incidents with escalation per established procedures. Carry out isolations and reinstate Electrical, Cooling, Fire Alarms and Gas Suppression systems when required and authorized. Ensure plant equipment operates efficiently, support cross-departmental needs, prepare quotations for technical works, follow up service reports and SLAs, and contribute to developing/testing operational procedures. Collaborate with Projects, Sales, Customer & Admin Services, Finance, and other teams; participate in client meetings, present solutions, and uncover customer needs. Maintain documentation, stay up-to-date with relevant disciplines, and ensure proper handling of safety and PPE requirements. Role supports on-site presence with either 1 or 2 technicians, and may involve 24/7 coverage as per local site arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- Preferably vocational education degree within Electrical or Mechanical discipline or equivalent.
- Preferably 2 years’ experience with electrical systems in a critical environment and / or at a data center. If not, 5 years of experience with regular electrical systems.
- In-depth knowledge of maintenance fundamentals for service and repairs.
- Ability to perform complex work activities with some degree of personal responsibility and autonomy.
- Strong teamwork and individual work capability.
- Detail-oriented with broad overview capability.
- IT and computer skills with various software tools and systems.
- Good communication skills, written and spoken. Fluent in English.
