Job Summary
Conduct high-quality security services to protect people and property at assigned facilities. Patrol the site on foot or in a vehicle, monitor closed circuit television systems and alarms, and maintain proficiency with protective equipment, restraint devices, and weapons. Enforce site regulations for personnel, visitors, and premises while acting as a visible deterrent to crime and rule infractions. Report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances verbally and in writing, and answer phones or greet guests and employees professionally. Maintain awareness of site-specific operations performance manuals and post orders, and prepare reports while managing multiple competing assignments. Work across various environments including adverse outdoor conditions, requiring flexibility to cover special projects, call offs, and open shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Security Experience +1 Years Required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- at least 21 years of age
- Be able to obtain a valid Guard License as required in the state for which you are applying
- maintain current active status of all required License at all times
- carry the License at all times while on duty
- successfully complete a background investigation
- successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test
- may be required to pass a Driver's Record check
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative
- successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments

- Ability to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site

- Must possess one or more of the following:
- 3 years civilian law enforcement
- 3 years private or corporate security experience
- 3 years military experience with a positive discharge
- Criminal Justice Degree or law enforcement related degree
- Associates or higher
- Graduate of a law enforcement training academy
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use both hands
