Job Summary
Critical Facilities Technician role in a mission-critical data center environment focused on maintaining uptime and performing preventative maintenance across data-center infrastructure. Responsibilities include operating, monitoring, and maintaining critical and non-critical systems; conducting site inspections and rounds; monitoring pumps, fire protection, HVAC, and electrical systems; responding to issues to minimize downtime; coordinating with third-party engineers/contractors; using CMMS to track maintenance and work orders; ensuring safety and documenting logs and maintenance records; supporting emergency response and system recovery as needed; collaborating with the team to maximize uptime and reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Experience performing preventative maintenance and equipment monitoring
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a high-pressure environment
