Job Summary
Operate and maintain client properties within a data center environment, focusing on building operations, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance. Troubleshoot and repair equipment, controls, fire life safety systems, and mechanical components while supporting the property maintenance team and construction projects. Perform predictive and preventative maintenance routines, assist the Chief Engineer with compliance documentation, and ensure contracted services meet established work standards. Maintain good tenant relations through prompt responses to service requests and occasionally work as part of a team or independently. This 3rd shift night role (10:00pm - 6:00am) includes overtime and holiday work; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Located on-site in Richardson, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Several years of construction or building engineering related experience
- Experience preferably within the data center environment
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experienced with various types of hand tools
- Use of diagnostic equipment
- Physically able to operate electric hand tools
- Ability to work on a ladder
- Ability to carry tools
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds
- Able to work in close spaces such as closets, crawl space
- Able to work on roofs of buildings
- Ability to diagnosis problems

- Proven safety record
- Compliance to safe work practices
- Interpret engineering drawings
- Interpret equipment manuals
- CFC Universal Refrigerant Certification
- Proficient computer skills including e-mail, word and excel
- Exposure to a CMMS system
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- 3rd Shift Night shift : 10:00pm -6:00 am
- Occasional overtime and holiday work will be required
Desired Qualifications
- Trade or Maintenance License preferred
- Exposure to a CMMS system, such as Corrigo a plus
