Critical Facilities Technician (9pm-7am)

Job Summary
The Critical Facilities Technician maintains and supports data-center infrastructure in a 24x7 environment, including monitoring and limited maintenance of electrical and HVAC systems and building management systems. Responsibilities include monitoring critical power, cooling/environmental, security and support systems; updating service tickets; taking daily readings of mechanical and electrical equipment; identifying issues and taking corrective actions; and assisting with service delivery tasks. Key skills include knowledge of chiller plant systems and BMS/UPS, multi-tasking across ticketing systems, attention to safety procedures, organization, and customer-service mindset. Overtime opportunities exist; night shift is required. US citizenship and the ability to obtain security clearance may be required for customer support.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years experience in a critical operations environment and/or data center experience preferred, but not required.
Additional Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship may be required for customer contracts; ability to obtain security clearance via government or other agency background check may be required.
