Job Summary
Lead Engineer for Critical Facilities Maintenance at NTT Global Data Centers. Responsible for managing a CFM Engineering team, overseeing CAFM system and ticketing queues, and developing/employing SOP and EOP documentation. Provides first-line escalation for technical and non-technical issues, ensures safe, compliant operation of data-center critical and non-critical infrastructure, and delivers high-performance FM services to support data-center operations. Requires strong knowledge of M&E systems (Transformers, LV/HV, Generators, UPS, BMS, HVAC, fire suppression), Authorized Person duties for Low and High Voltage, and ability to create and maintain operational procedures. Demands excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with a proactive, team-focused mindset and willingness to develop personnel. UK driving license and BS7858 security checks are required.
Required Qualifications
- AP12 LV/ AP15 HV Authorized Person
- 17th or 18th Edition certified (or comparable) electrical qualification
- HND or similar in relevant area (Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services)
- IOSH – Working Safely
- L8 Legionella Management
- F-Gas Certification (essential for working with refrigerants)
- NVQ / City & Guilds in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (Level 2 or 3)
- Experience with Transformers, LV, Generators, UPS, BMS, HVAC, Chiller systems
