Job Summary
Critical Facilities Engineer responsible for on-site maintenance and repair of data-center infrastructure (UPS, PDU, Diesel Generators, ATS, Building Controls, Chillers, CRAH) with a focus on uptime, reliability, and customer service. Work with a team to perform preventative and corrective maintenance, develop reliability reports to ensure availability targets, coordinate vendors, and create MOPs/SOPs/EOPs to standardize maintenance activities. Qualifications include hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical systems in mission-critical facilities, ability to read blueprints/diagrams, and strong technical writing skills. Role requires ability to work in a high-demand data center environment, travel for training, and willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hands-on maintenance and repair experience of industrial electrical and mechanical systems in mission-critical facilities (including emergency generators, MV/LV switchgear, PDUs, UPS, HVAC, building management/automation)
- Ability to read commercial building blueprints and understand electrical single-line diagrams
- Knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems concepts, practices, and procedures relevant to data center operations
- Technical writing experience with creating/updating MOPs/SOPs/EOPs for critical facilities equipment
- willingness to obtain required license within a reasonable time
- Strong emphasis on technical skills/training and safety procedures
- Shifts including potential after-hours, weekends, and on-call support
- Background check completion requirement
