Job Summary
Compute Sales Specialist to lead complex sales pursuits across assigned accounts/territories for HPE's mission-critical compute portfolio. Responsibilities include pipeline development, cross-functional collaboration, executive-level relationship building, opportunity qualification/negotiation/closing, and potential outsourcing deals. Requires knowledge of enterprise compute solutions, ability to develop quota objectives, and experience with system integrators/partners; travel 25-35% within US/Canada; requires university degree and substantial enterprise tech sales experience; role designated as Remote/Teleworker.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 8+ years of enterprise technology sales experience
- 2-3 years of product sales in the desired specialty
- Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota
- Experience supporting SAP environments
- Experience selling into Oracle database environments
- Experience with mission-critical or high-end compute platforms
- Willing to travel 25-35% across assigned territory
- Located in Illinois, Washington DC, Virginia, Ontario, or Quebec
