Job Summary
Conduct Critical Care nursing duties including ventilation, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring while floating to PCU as needed. Maintain Massachusetts licensure and complete required pre-employment modules for expedited on-boarding. This assignment requires 12 months of recent experience with 24 months in Critical Care, a BSN, and current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications. Candidates must reside over 50 miles from the facility, hold a Massachusetts license, and provide two charge/lead references from the last two years. The role offers $3130 per week for a 13-week contract with flexible hours of 36 or 48 per week, no call, and weekends/holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Critical Care experience
- Massachusetts license
- COVID vaccination
- Vent
- ICP monitoring
- hemodynamic monitoring
- 2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
- Travel only, local not allowed
- Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted
- Religious and medical declinations accepted
- No current placement allowed at Program: TrioWFS Program - Berkshire Health System
- Must be ready to complete credentialing quickly
- Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week
- Maximum 5 days of RTO
- Weekends and holidays as needed
- No call
- Will float to PCU as needed
- 5 days maximum time off
- Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 11/27/2026, 12/24/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/26/2026, 12/31/2026, 01/01/2027
- Number of holidays allowed off: 0
Desired Qualifications
- 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred
- BSN completion preferred
- Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
