Critical Care Tech PACU

Monitor patients on telemetry, accurately recording ECG changes and responding promptly to all monitor alarms per department policy. Ensure every patient is connected to the central monitor with alarms appropriately set, maintaining records in a systematic, organized fashion. Troubleshoot equipment issues, clean transmitters, and file EKG reports into charts as needed. Document all communication to care givers and maintain inventory while following verbal and written directives. Requires current Basic Life Support certification and ability to read, write, and speak English. Located at St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado, a Level I Trauma Center with Magnet designation.
