Job Summary
Provide ICU-level respiratory care during patient transport on LifeLine EMS's Critical Care Team, including monitoring arterial blood gases, ventilator management, high-flow oxygen, capnography, and collaboration with physicians to ensure safe pre-hospital and inter-facility transfers. Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining respiratory equipment, ensuring device safety, documenting charts, and complying with safety and compliance protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years Respiratory Care experience in an acute care or respiratory care hospital, within the last 18 months
- Current RCP license and unrestricted practice in the state of California
- Current ACLS Certification (Required)
- Current PALS Certification (Required)
- Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
