Job Summary
Assess patients, provide critical nursing care, and transport patients while supervising treatment and assessment during transit. Operate emergency vehicles safely, manage patient lifting and transfers, and complete required documentation while adhering to company policies. Respond to dispatch instructions, maintain safety standards, and keep vehicles and stations clean. Maintain equipment and supplies, communicate effectively, and uphold strict confidentiality. Work 24-hour shifts on a 1 on 3 off schedule with overtime compensation. Requires an active RN license, ACLS/PALS certification, and ability to function in a high-stress environment. Join the Critical Care Response Transport Team where uniforms are provided and educational reimbursement is available.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered RN license
- Certified in ACLS and PALS prior to hire
- Ability to read and converse in English
- Ability to read road maps, street signs, and address numbers
- Ability to document information in writing in the prescribed format
- Ability to learn, use, and be proficient in all patient care equipment
- Ability to understand and retain instructions in a timely and accurate manner
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times
- Ability to bend and stoop
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
- Possess hand-eye-foot coordination
- Color recognition
- Good manual dexterity
- Ability to perform all tasks related to Emergency Medical Services Duty
- Ability to calculate weight and volume ratios
- Ability to read small print
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when necessary
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and stressful environment
- Ability to read and converse in English

Desired Qualifications
- Prefer 3 years of experience in a critical care or emergency department environment
- Certified CEN and/or CCRN preferred
- Patient transport experience preferred
- BSN preferred
