Job Summary
Critical Care Registered Nurse to provide ICU nursing care at the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System. Responsibilities include obtaining patient history, assessing and planning care, documenting in medical records, administering medications and IV therapies, interpreting ECGs and cardiac monitors, operating defibrillator and other emergency equipment, caring for Swan-Ganz catheters and ventilators, participating in discharge planning, and educating patients and families. Requires completion of an accredited RN program (BSN or ADN), current RN licensure, AHA BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least 1 year of recent Critical Care RN experience. No sponsorship available. Shift schedules vary and may change at directions of Ansible or customers.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program (BSN or ADN)
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in at least one state, territory, or commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- American Health Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- One (1) year of recent Critical Care RN work experience is required
