Job Summary
UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA seeks a full-time Intensivist to join its hospital-based adult critical care practice. The role involves delivering team-based care to critically ill patients across Medical, Cardiovascular, Trauma, Surgical, and Neuro ICU beds within a 64-bed critical care tower equipped with advanced technology, including ultrasound, videolaryngoscopy, bronchoscopy, prone positioning, and ECMO transfer capabilities. The intensivist will contribute to teaching emergency medicine and neurology residents, participate in a comprehensive cardiac and stroke program, and work within an employed, PSLF-eligible health system offering a robust benefits package, relocation support, CME stipend, sign-on, and potential incentives. Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine Residency Program completion
- Accredited Critical Care Fellowship Program completion
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License
- DEA certification
