Job Summary
Intensivist sought to join hospital-based adult critical care at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA. The role supports a 64-bed critical care tower delivering care across Medical, Cardiovascular, Trauma, Surgical, and Neuro ICU beds. Responsibilities include team-based care delivery, use of advanced tech (point-of-care ultrasound, videolaryngoscopy, bedside bronchoscopy, prone positioning), and capability to initiate ECMO with transfer to quaternary centers. Opportunity to teach emergency medicine and neurology residents; practice supported by a comprehensive Cardiac Center and Stroke Center. Credentials include MD/DO, board eligibility/certification in Critical Care, DEA, PA license eligibility; PSLF eligible with relocation and incentive bonuses; eligible for a robust benefits package. Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine Residency Program completion
- Accredited Critical Care Fellowship Program completion
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
- DEA certification
