Job Summary
UPMC Hamot in Erie seeks a full-time Intensivist to join its hospital-based adult critical care practice. Work in a 64-bed ICU tower delivering team-based care across Medical, Cardiovascular, Trauma, Surgical, and Neuro ICUs. The role includes teaching emergency medicine and neurology residents; capabilities include point-of-care ultrasound, videolaryngoscopy, bedside bronchoscopy, prone positioning, and ECMO initiation with transfer to a quaternary center. Modern radiology facilities and access to a comprehensive Cardiac Center and Stroke Center support high-acuity care; attractive relocation and comprehensive compensation packages, CME stipend, sign-on, and PSLF-eligible benefits are offered.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine Residency Program completion
- Accredited Critical Care Fellowship Program completion
- Open to recent fellowship-trained physicians
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
- DEA certification
