Job Summary
UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA is seeking a full-time Intensivist to join a hospital-based adult critical care practice. The role involves delivering team-based care across a 64-bed critical care tower with advanced technology, including point-of-care ultrasound, videolaryngoscopy, bedside bronchoscopy, prone positioning, and capability to initiate ECMO with transfer to a quaternary center. The intensivist will provide care across Medical, Cardiovascular, Trauma, Surgical, and Neuro ICU beds, contribute to teaching emergency medicine and neurology residents, and work within affiliated programs such as the Comprehensive Cardiac Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center. Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine Residency Program completion
- Accredited Critical Care Fellowship Program completion
- Open to recent fellowship-trained physicians
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
- DEA certification
