Job Summary
UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA seeks a full-time Intensivist to join its hospital-based adult critical care practice. The role supports a 64-bed critical care tower with advanced technology, including point-of-care ultrasound, videolaryngoscopy, bedside bronchoscopy, prone positioning, and ECMO capability, and offers opportunity to teach emergency medicine and neurology residents. The team provides care across Medical, Cardiovascular, Trauma, Surgical, and Neuro ICU beds in a BEACON Unit environment, within a quaternary-transferrable framework. The position includes comprehensive benefits, signing/relocation incentives, CME stipend, PSLF eligibility, and a strong focus on high-acuity, evidence-based patient care in a regional referral center. Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine Residency Program completion
- Accredited Critical Care Fellowship Program completion
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
- DEA certification
