Critical Care Night Shift Pediatric PA - Make a Difference at Shriners

Night shift, full-time Pediatric Acute Care Physician Assistant at a leading pediatric healthcare system, delivering care to hospitalized pediatric and young adult patients in a Level 1 pediatric trauma center setting.Responsibilities include management of fluids, antibiotics, pain and sedation control, and vasopressor medications, with basic stabilization of patients in shock or respiratory distress. Works closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, with 24/7 access to a Pediatric Intensivist backup and collaboration with a Trauma/Critical Care Burn Surgeon. Typical patient load ranges from 2-5 patients with overnight admissions averaging about 1.5 patients per shift.
