Job Summary
Conduct initial patient assessments, triage, and screening while rounding on critical care and intensive care patients. Review laboratory and procedure results, coordinate follow-up care, and communicate with patients and families. Secure medication, diagnostic, and treatment pre-authorizations. Perform work in both inpatient and outpatient settings with immediate ongoing coverage on night shifts. No call required.
Required Qualifications
- Critical Care Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Drug Enforcement Administration License (DEA)
- National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Active Pennsylvania medical license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
