Job Summary
Provide direct patient care for medical patients in the Critical Care Unit and Intensive Care Unit, responding to calls from the Emergency Department, Subacute Care Center, Telemetry Unit, and Chest Pain Evaluation Center. Manage immediate response to Code Blues, perform invasive procedures, and consult with attending physicians, nurses, and staff. Ensure documentation adherence to hospital rules and policies while collaborating with hospital personnel. Maintain current medical knowledge in Critical Care Medicine through continuing education programs. Board certified or board eligible in Critical Care Medicine with a valid Maryland Medical License required. Salary range is USD $426,000.00 - USD $450,000.00 per year.
Required Qualifications
- Board certified or board eligible in Critical Care Medicine
- MD degree or foreign equivalent
- Completion of a three-year ABIM-recognized Internal Medicine residency program
- Two-year ABIM-recognized Critical Care fellowship program
- Valid Maryland Medical License
- Board Certification, American Board of Internal Medicine, Internal Medicine
- Board Certification or Eligibility, American Board of Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine
