Critical Care Intensivist (81634)

Conduct daily physician coverage for a 12-bed closed ICU, managing critically ill patients from admission through resuscitation in the ED or Med-Surg. Direct and enforce efficient care, resource utilization, and evidence-based compliance with Critical Care standard operating procedures. Perform procedures including central venous access, intubation, bronchoscopy, and ventilator management while supervising Advanced Practice Providers. Coordinate multi-disciplinary rounds and oversee transitional follow-up for patients transferred out of the ICU. Participate in comprehensive treatment plan formation with multi-disciplinary input. Work a 7 on/7 off schedule with in-house APPs at night.
