Job Summary
Critical Care Float Pool - Travel RN role across OSU/Wexner Medical Center network requiring 12 months of general RN experience with 3 months in last year and 22 months in Critical Care Float Pool, plus travel experience and Epic proficiency. Ohio or compact RN license required after submission. Role involves floating to multiple units (including ICU/CVICU/SICU/MICU) with local and travel options; must be able to float within OSU facilities. Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; ACEN/CCNE-accredited program education. Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), every other weekend; expected length 13 weeks; 3 shifts per week; start around 2026-07-27. References and pre-employment modules may be required. Locations include Westerville, OH; floating to various OSU units.
Required Qualifications
- Ohio license or compact license (required after submission)
- 1 year of experience with 3 months in last 12 months
- 22 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience
- Travel experience required
- Experience with Epic required
- Education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Must float to multiple units
- Unit coverage: Adult patient population; Kidney, liver, lung, and heart transplant population
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
