Job Summary
Travel Critical Care Float Pool - Travel Registered Nurse for a night-shift ICU/CCU float position in Corning, NY. Float to ICU, Med/Surg/Tele, or ED units; requires NY RN license and Epic experience. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS. 13-week travel/contract, 12-hour shifts (7:45 PM–7:15 AM), every other weekend and every other holiday. Local & travel allowed; candidates living <50 miles from the facility will be processed as local. Canadian candidates must have a US SSN to apply. Pre-employment modules may be required. References: 1 Manager/Supervisor and 1 Lead reference from within specified timeframes.
Required Qualifications
- New York license (required for submission)
- Experience: ICU float pool: 24 months total ICU experience (minimum 2 years ICU)
- Experience with Epic
- Float to multiple units
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NIHSS
- NIH Stroke Scale
- Shift: Night 7:45 PM - 7:15 AM
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- License Type: registered
- Shift Type: Night
- Paperwork: Proof of identification required
