Job Summary
Float to Medical ICU, SICU, and IMC units, providing care for patients with sepsis, ESRD, AKI, post-cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure. Maintain 1:2 or 1:1 patient ratios based on acuity. Hold a Massachusetts RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications. Complete required pre-employment modules and provide a charge/lead reference. Submit only if residing over 90 miles from the facility and vaccinated against COVID. Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM for four 12-hour shifts weekly. Contract runs 12 weeks starting August 2026 with a maximum of seven days off.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 10 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience worked in the last 3 years
- Massachusetts license
- COVID vaccination
- Live >90 miles from facility
- No current placement at AMN Program - Baystate Health
- 1 Charge/Lead reference from within the last 12 months
- Proof of identification
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- Registered license type
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year in a Level 1 ICU
- 2 years preferred experience in MICU setting
