Job Summary
Conduct night shifts in the Medical ICU, caring for neuro critical care patients with cases including sepsis, ESRD, AKI, post-cardiac arrest care, and respiratory failure. Float to Medical HVCC, SICU, and IMC units as required. Maintain a 1:2 or 1:1 patient ratio based on acuity. Hold a Massachusetts license, complete 12 months of experience with 3 months in the last 12 months, and possess 10 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience within the last 3 years. Provide BLS and ACLS certification. Submit only if living more than 90 miles from the facility.

- 10 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience worked in the last 3 years
- Massachusetts license
- COVID vaccination
- No current placement at Program: AMN Program - Baystate Health
- 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
- Proof of identification
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- Registered license type
- Live >90 miles from facility
- Travel only (local not allowed)
- Floating to multiple units
- 7 days maximum time off
- Facility holidays: 10/31/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/24/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026
- Number of holidays allowed off: 1
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year in a Level 1 ICU preferred
- 2 years preferred experience in MICU setting
