Job Summary
Conduct night shifts in Medical ICU, Neuro Critical Care, Medical HVCC, SICU, and IMC, floating between units as needed. Manage patients with sepsis, ESRD, AKI requiring CRRT/CVVH, post-cardiac arrest care, and respiratory failure at ratios of 1:2 or 1:1 based on acuity. Maintain Massachusetts licensure, hold BLS and ACLS certifications, and provide a charge/lead reference from the last 12 months. Submit within 90 miles of the facility, complete COVID vaccination, and adhere to a 12-week contract with 4 shifts per week.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 10 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience worked in the last 3 years
- Massachusetts license
- COVID vaccination
- Live >90 miles from facility
- No current placement at Program: AMN Program - Baystate Health
- 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
- Proof of identification
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- Registered license type
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year in a Level 1 ICU
- 2 years preferred experience in MICU setting
