Job Summary
Conduct critical care float duties at ECU Medical Center, Beaufort, and Edgecombe hospitals, rotating through ICU and Intermediate Care units. Float between these locations as assignments are emailed daily, adhering to a 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM shift schedule with four 12-hour shifts weekly. Maintain a minimum of 12 months of critical care float experience, including recent work at the specified programs, and complete required Relias exams within 48 hours of offer acceptance. This travel-only assignment requires a North Carolina license, current COVID vaccination, and floating to all inpatient units at skill level and below.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience worked in the last 3 years
- 12 months of travel experience
- North Carolina license or compact license
- COVID vaccination
- 12 months gap between for Staff at Program: AMN Program - ECU Health (Vidant Health) and no current placement allowed at Program: AMN Program - ECU Health (Vidant Health)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) accepted from any issuing body
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- 2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
- Relias exams that must be taken immediately (within 48hrs)
