Job Summary
Float between ECU Medical Center, Beaufort, and Edgecombe hospitals, covering Level 1 trauma center inpatient units including ICU and Intermediate Care at specified skill ratios. Provide critical care coverage on a 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM) with a maximum of five days off per week. Maintain a North Carolina or compact license, hold BLS and ACLS certifications, and complete required Relias exams within 48 hours of offer acceptance. This travel assignment requires living more than 80 miles from the facility and includes floating to additional units and locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience worked in the last 3 years
- 12 months of travel experience
- North Carolina license or compact license
- COVID vaccination
- 12 months gap between Staff at Program: AMN Program - ECU Health (Vidant Health) and no current placement at Program: AMN Program - ECU Health (Vidant Health)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Relias exams taken immediately (within 48hrs)
- 2 Charge/Lead references from within the last 12 months
