Job Summary
Conduct critical care float pool duties at ECU Medical Center, Beaufort, and Edgecombe, rotating between ICU, intermediate care, and other inpatient units at skill level and below. Manage night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) at a Level 1 trauma center, with assignments sent via email daily. Maintain a 12-month gap from the AMN Program – ECU Health (Vidant Health) and submit required charge/lead references from the last 12 months. Complete Relias exams within 48 hours of offer acceptance and adhere to a 5-day maximum time-off policy.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience worked in the last 3 years
- 12 months of travel experience
- North Carolina license or compact license
- COVID vaccination
- 12 months gap between Staff at Program: AMN Program - ECU Health (Vidant Health) and no current placement at Program: AMN Program - ECU Health (Vidant Health)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Relias exams taken immediately (within 48hrs)
- 2 Charge/Lead references from within the last 12 months
