Job Summary
Float between ECU Medical Center, Beaufort, and Edgecombe inpatient units at skill level and below, including ICU and Intermediate Care. Provide critical care support at a Level 1 trauma center with a 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM shift schedule. Maintain 12 months of travel experience and 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience, with a requirement for a North Carolina license and COVID vaccination. Complete Relias exams within 48 hours of offer acceptance. Submit to this travel-only assignment with a minimum 80-mile distance from the facility.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience worked in the last 3 years
- 12 months of travel experience
- North Carolina license or compact license
- COVID vaccination
- 12 months gap between Staff at Program: AMN Program - ECU Health (Vidant Health) and no current placement at Program: AMN Program - ECU Health (Vidant Health)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Relias exams taken within 48 hours of accepting an offer
- 2 Charge/Lead references from within the last 12 months
