Job Summary
Conduct critical care float pool duties at ECU Medical Center, Beaufort, and Edgecombe hospitals, rotating between ICU and Intermediate Care units. Float assignments are emailed the day of shift, with a maximum of five days time off and specific holiday coverage. Maintain a 12-month gap from the AMN Program - ECU Health position and complete required Relias exams within 48 hours of offer acceptance. This 13-week travel assignment at a Level 1 trauma center requires a North Carolina license, 12 months of travel experience, and 24 months of recent critical care float pool experience.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience worked in the last 3 years
- 12 months of travel experience
- North Carolina license or compact license
- COVID vaccination
- 12 months gap between Staff at Program: AMN Program - ECU Health (Vidant Health) and no current placement at Program: AMN Program - ECU Health (Vidant Health)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Relias exams taken immediately (within 48hrs)
- 2 Charge/Lead references from within the last 12 months
